See some photos from the Cultural Festival Celebration at G.I.S

Our students had a blast preparing food, displays, and decorations for the event. This special opportunity was extended to members of the Diversity Club who have demonstrated leadership, commitment, and exemplary participation. During the event, club ambassadors assisted 5th-grade students with answering questions and helping with minimal set-up.

Culture Fest Celebration highlighted the fifth-grade Cultural Diversity unit in which students had to research a country of origin. For the celebration, students and their families were encouraged to bring an item representing their heritage, such as traditional food, clothing, music, dance, or another meaningful artifact. See some of the photos from our celebration here!
