Goshen administrators present their research

Two administrators in our district, Heather Hendershot and Nancy Weber, presented their research at different events for education professionals.

Heather Hendershot, Director of Pupil Personnel Services, recently took part in a workshop hosted by Manhattanville University titled “Hot Topics in Educational Leadership: Science of Reading – Bridging Research and Practice.” Hendershot presented her dissertation findings on the Science of Reading, was a member of the panel at the event, and participated in the Q&A.

Nancy Weber, Assistant Principal at C.J. Hooker Middle School, co-presented at the NYS Board Association’s Annual Conference. Weber presented on the topic of chronic absenteeism in schools, citing the best practices schools are using to address this issue.

Goshen is proud of Heather and Nancy, for their work and for representing our district so well. Congratulations!
