Goshen Intermediate School’s Principal Dr. Matthew Wentworth recently took part in a panel at the School Administrators Association of New York State 2024 Conference. At the discussion “AI for School Leaders – Focus on the Opportunities”, Dr. Wentworth and the panel explored how AI can support educators and administrators in ways that extend far beyond basic tech tools.
The topics discussed ranged from how AI could serve as a personal assistant to school administrators, to how AI can tailor insights to the specific needs of a school district. Dr. Wentworth discussed how AI can handle routine tasks for different school related personnel.
The SAANYS 2024 panel underscored that AI in education is not just about increasing efficiency; it’s about creating a supportive, safe, and enriching learning environment. By having a well-rounded discussion that addresses the complexity of AI, the panelists offered a comprehensive look at how AI can enhance educational practices and drive positive outcomes for students and educators alike.
