As of August 5, our disaster recovery team has successfully enabled partial restoration of the district’s network.
At this time, our telephone lines are fully restored for incoming and outgoing calls. The district’s email system is partially rehabilitated; all “outbound traffic” such as outgoing emails sent from district accounts will reach their recipients; however, incoming emails may not yet be accessible by our employees.
All 12-month employees who were relocated to off-site work spaces at Orange-Ulster BOCES will be back in-district by the end of the week in anticipation of a full network restoration by Monday, August 12, pending no disruptions during these final moments of remediation and inspection.
