This week’s spotlight is on C.J. Hooker Middle School Secretary Anna Waite, who is new to the district this year.
Before joining the Goshen Central School District last September, Waite worked in hospitality bartending and waitressing, as well as in healthcare and marketing.
The secretary recently moved to New York, but said it has been easy to acclimate.
“I’m still fairly new to New York, coming from Ohio,” said Waite. “Goshen reminds me a lot of back home in Ohio. I really enjoy the community.”
Outside work, Waite enjoys camping, hiking, puzzles, sudoku, drawing, reading and anything fun with her two daughters.
As for her favorite food – she said, “Chicken and dumplin’s… it always reminds me of back home.”
