This week’s spotlight is on Kindergarten Teacher’s Aide Analisse Fife, who has been with the district for one year.
Fife worked as an English language teacher abroad, religious education teacher and dance teacher before joining the Goshen Central School District at Scotchtown Avenue Elementary School in January of this year. She is also a licensed real estate salesperson with 10 years of experience in the insurance industry.
The teacher’s aide graduated from medical school abroad and is currently pursuing her teacher’s assistant certification.
Fife said she wanted to join the district because she and her family have been Goshen residents for more than 10 years. She has two children in the district, a junior in the high school and a third grader at Goshen Intermediate School.
“My goals are to continue to help students thrive academically, develop socially and emotionally, and encourage good human behavior,” said Fife. “I love being an aide at SAS and I especially love working in my current kindergarten classroom.
“I truly enjoy playing an integral part in the day-to-day at SAS,” she said. “The hugs, smiles and high fives I receive every day from the students truly fill my heart with joy.”
Fife said she mostly looks forward to being one of the smiling faces that greets the children every morning and prepares them for the day.
“I look forward to making a positive impact in their lives, and hope that when they look back on their elementary school days, they remember all the love and warmth they got from me,” said Fife. “I want every student to know they matter, that they are loved and have a place in the world.”
Outside work, Fife said she loves going to the beach and spending time with her family and ginger cat, Max. She also enjoys traveling, getting to know new people and places, listening to music of all genres and hanging out with friends.
Thank you, Analisse Fife, for everything you do! We appreciate you!
