CJH student wins regional Peace Poster Contest, up for state level

Each year students across the world from ages 11-13 submit artwork to the International Peace Poster Contest through the Lions Club and Lion International.

This year’s theme was “Together As One,” and Amelia Arbizo, a C.J. Hooker Middle School Student, is in the running at the state level after already winning at the local and regional levels.

“If she wins, her work will move on to compete nationally, then internationally,” said CJH Art Teacher Amber Brown.

“Being our regional winner is a huge accomplishment and we are so proud of Amelia,” she said.
