CJH announces winner of 3rd Annual Goshen Lapel Pin Design Challenge


With great excitement, C.J. Hooker Middle School (CJH) announces Julia Wilson as the winner of the 3rd Annual Goshen Lapel Pin Design Challenge with her unique sneaker-themed design.

The design, which stands out for its creativity and embodiment of the Goshen ethos, features the number “24” representing the current year and is accented with hearts symbolizing love for the community.

This exceptional design has been transformed into limited edition, high-quality lapel pins available for $10 each, with all proceeds supporting CJH’s Olympics of Visual Arts (OVA) Club.

The OVA Club is dedicated to nurturing the artistic talents of students and promoting a passion for the arts within the community.

“Julia’s design not only reflects the artistic talent within CJH but also reinforces the solidarity amongst our students and faculty,” said Art Teacher Michael Perez. “It’s a testament to our commitment to creativity and collaboration.”
