District Cyber Attack Updates: At this time, little new information is known. Temporary phone numbers will hopefully be available for community and district communication on Monday, July 15. All news related to the cyber attack, including information about summer programs, can be found here: GCSD Cyber Attack Updates

Annual Chromebook Responsibility Form

It is important that each child in Goshen Schools has access to a computer in school and at home. GCSD will provide your child a Chromebook for at-home use if you agree to the terms of the Chromebook Responsibility Form. Please read carefully.

  • Students in Scotchtown Avenue Elementary School (K-2) and Goshen Intermediate School (3-5) will have access to Chromebooks in the classroom and the option to take them home.
  • Students at CJ Hooker Middle School will be issued a school chromebook that is required to bring back and forth (charged) on a daily basis.
  • Students at Goshen High School will have the opportunity to sign out a district Chromebook, or utilize a personal laptop device (not a tablet or smartphone) to access the district internet through a Bring Your Own Device Wireless Network (BYOD).

Students will be expected to have a charged device with them each day for instructional activities.

The Device Program is a partnership between the Goshen Central School District (“the District”) and families (“Family,” “Parent/s Guardian/s,” “Children,” or “Student”).

*Please note that the Goshen Central School District owns and will be deploying various makes and models of Chromebooks. All Chromebooks have been properly assessed and updated before dissemination to ensure appropriate functionality for all users.

**Chromebook distribution will be in the order in which requests were received, as soon as possible.
