Grade 6
Nicholas Schuler is our sixth grade Yellow Team Student of the Month! Nicholas stands out for his kindness, awesome participation, and his willingness to help others. He sets a great example by always being on top of his work and having positive attitude. Nicholas is the kind of student who makes our classroom a better place every day, and we’re so glad to have him on our team!
Robert Bugaasch consistently goes above and beyond in every aspect of his schoolwork. He is not only a dedicated student, but also a kind and supportive classmate who is always willing to help students in need. His positive attitude and commitment to doing his best make him a valued member of the sixth-grade Purple Team. Keep up the great work, Robert!
Ian Gordon has been awarded Student of the Month for consistently embodying positivity and kindness in our school community. He comes in every day with a friendly attitude and goes out of his way to make others feel welcome and valued. Ian’s genuine enthusiasm for supporting others has helped create a more inclusive and joyful environment for all on the Maroon team. Congratulations, Ian!

Andres Hernandez Lorenzo is an inspiring English language learning student who has faced challenges in his academic journey, yet has made the most of his abilities. Despite the difficulties he encounters, Andres demonstrates a remarkable work ethic and a strong commitment to his studies. He not only focuses on his own learning, but also actively assists his classmates, sharing his knowledge and encouraging others to succeed. His inclusive nature shines through as he involves fellow students in various activities, fostering a sense of community within the classroom. Grade 7
Aubrielle Boroden is a kind, considerate and accepting young lady, as evidenced while she interacts with her peers and teachers. She is always prepared and ready to learn, and she consistently displays a strong work ethic on her assignments and while preparing for quizzes and tests. She also proactively asks questions, proving that she always wants to do her best work. Congratulations, Aubrielle! Keep up the great work!
Jackson Pagliocca excels academically, showing a genuine passion for learning. His curiosity and work ethic have earned Jackson the respect of both peers and teachers alike. He actively participates in class discussions, asks insightful questions, and consistently completes assignments with great attention to detail. Beyond academics, Jackson is a true role model for others. He is always willing to lend a hand to classmates in need and regularly contributes to collaborative work with enthusiasm. Beau Quick is our seventh-grade Student of the Month selection. Beau’s passion for music is evident not only in her performance, but also in willingness to support and inspire others. She selflessly gave her time to help the sixth-grade chorus learn their music part for our winter concert. Beau is kind and friendly to others around her, making her an absolute pleasure to have in class. Congratulations to Beau!
Grade 8
Thehan Lekamalage is diligent, patient, honest, courteous, and kind. He comes to class with a positive attitude, committed to academic success. Thehan contributes to class discussion, cooperates with others, and demonstrates acceptance of his peers regardless of individual differences. Thehan’s effort and the respect he shows towards others is to be commended. Congratulations, Thehan!
Lukis Oum is a kind, friendly, independent and happy young man. He is intelligent, hard-working and motivated to do his best. He is an excellent class participant and is a positive role model for his peers with whom he engages encouragingly. He is a driven student who is a respectful advocate for himself. Lukis is appropriate in and out of the classroom, as well as inclusive. He is always able to communicate well with adults and peers. He is a quiet leader who sets an excellent example.
Special Areas:
Aarush Vohra is a positive, passionate, and caring student and trumpet player. He plays in the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. On top of that, Aarush plays with the GHS Stage Band, our high school’s premiere jazz band! The dedication he shows to his work is evident in music as well as other classes, coming prepared and eager to learn each day. His kind and positive attitude makes him a pleasure to be around!
