September Students of the Month are respectful, committed to success


The student of the month is:

  • Respectful – The student treats classmates, teachers and staff with respect by valuing each as an individual, respecting differences, and valuing the work that others do.
  • Responsible – The student embraces the responsibility required to maintain progress in their schoolwork and other personal goals.
  • Positive – The student contributes to the success of the school by promoting a positive school climate through their actions and words.
  • Honest – The student communicates truthfully and in a respectful way with classmates, teachers, staff and refrains from dishonesty in completing academic work.
  • Committed to success – The student strives for success in all they do and works to the best of their ability.

Vanessa Celaya is kind and willing to lend a helping hand. Her kindness and support in helping her peers adjust to a new school have truly made a difference. Keep shining bright—your positive impact is appreciated more than you know! Congrats on earning student of the month!

Gianna Falvo has had a fantastic start to 6th grade, consistently standing out for her kindness, hard work, and excellent participation in class. She is always ready to lend a helping hand to her peers and demonstrates a positive attitude in all she does. Gianna’s dedication to her studies is impressive, and her eagerness to contribute during discussions makes her a valuable part of the classroom community. Her strong start to the year sets a great example for her fellow students!

Ava Lagakos is a shining example of kindness, hard work, and responsibility. Ava puts in great effort on every assignment, stays focused, and always tries her best. Her positive attitude and dedication make her a role model among her classmates. We are so proud to have such a thoughtful and hardworking student on our team!

Special Areas: 

Gianna Buontempone is hardworking, dedicated, and always wants to improve. She treats others with respect and leads by example. She is kind to everyone around her and sets a great example for others to follow. Gianna also excels as a fantastic flute player in the 6th Grade Band. Congratulations on being selected as our student of the month!

Grade 7

Tyler Mayo has truly set himself apart through his exceptional character and positive attitude. He consistently demonstrates kindness, whether it’s lending a helping hand to classmates, offering a word of encouragement, or simply showing compassion to those around him. His considerate nature shines through in the way he listens to others and respects different perspectives, always ensuring that everyone feels included. Congratulations, Tyler, for being named the September Student of the Month!

Haley McGuire has made a positive impression on her teachers.  She is responsible and hard-working in all her classes.  She never fails to participate regardless of the subject matter and adds to class discussions in a meaningful way. Additionally, Haley is a supportive classmate to her peers.  She works well with everyone and often takes on a leadership role.  The respect and kindness she displays to others helps create an upbeat and accepting classroom culture for all.  Congratulations, Haley, on being selected as our first Student of the Month! 

Isabella Diaz is an absolute pleasure. She greets every day with a smile that brightens the toughest of mornings. She is kind to her classmates and is always willing to help someone in need. Isabella takes it upon herself to help classmates that are struggling and does it with a smile. She is an active and passionate student who shows a love of learning. 

Special Areas: 

Madelyn Arfsten is kind and hardworking. As a student, she is focused and determined in everything she does.. She stands out as a leader in the Alto section in chorus as well. We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes this year. Congratulations!

Grade 8

Za’Nya Collins consistently demonstrates kindness, honesty, and respect towards her peers and teachers!  Za’nya is hardworking and consistently puts forth her best effort in class. Her cooperative attitude, thoughtful demeaner, and hardworking nature set a great example for others.  Congratulations to Za’Nya. 

Isabella Williams is an attentive, respectful, and perceptive student.  She is engaged in class activities and an excellent participant in class contributing insight into class discussions.  Isabella is an intelligent, inquisitive and motivated student.  She is a self-starter and a positive role model for her peers. She is well poised, organized and demonstrates a positive attitude and brightens up the day with her infectious smile.

Special Areas: 

Christian Taylor actively participates in class discussions and group projects, showcasing his commitment to collaborative learning. His willingness to assist both teachers and peers has fostered a supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged to contribute. Keep up the great work, Christian, and congratulations!
