This week’s spotlight is on a Goshen Central School District employee who does not teach, but who does important work with many other unsung heroes behind the scenes.
Secretary/Treasurer Susan Sherman joined the district this past fall and is in her first year, bringing experience from working as an accountant and at the Orange County Government Center.
Sherman earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and said she was excited to bring that to Goshen schools.
“I love how Goshen is all about the community,” said Sherman.
Her goal is to strive to be the best, and she said she looks forward to serving the students and the community.
Outside work, Sherman enjoys gardening and working out at the gym.
BONUS FACT: Sherman’s favorite food is chicken parmesan. “So yummy!” she said.
