The Goshen Central School District is currently hiring part-time School Bus Drivers
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 or older
- Must have a clean, valid CDL B with air brake, P & S endorsements
- Able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment and random drug screening
- Able to pass Fingerprint clearance, background check
General Job Description:
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a school bus while transporting students to/from school and/or field trips.
- Operate a school bus in accordance with all state, federal and local laws and school district policies.
- Perform a pre-trip inspection on the operating condition of a school bus before starting a route. Identify and report any defects to the dispatch office.
- Instruct students on safety proceedures outlined in the safety drill guide.
- Maintain orderly conduct of students on the bus.
