8th Grade School Supply List 2024-25

Green Team Materials

All Classes:

  • large 3-ring binder with loose-leaf paper a section for each core class that requires this.
  • pencil case recommended to hold the following items:
    • blue or black ink pens
    • pencils
    • different colored highlighters (at least two)
    • headphones/earbuds

ELA:

  • section in a larger 3-ring binder
  • steady supply of 3×5 index cards and Post-Its 

Math: 

  • section in a larger binder 
  • at least 2 dividers (Classwork/Exams)
  • Math 8 – Scientific calculator  (Texas Instruments: TI-30x or TI 34)    
  • Algebra I students should purchase a graphing calculator (TI-83 or 84), but are not required to bring it to school. One will be available during class.

Physical Science: 

  • section in larger 3-ring binder
  • folder or pocket in the binder

Earth Science: 

  • section in a larger 3-ring binder
  • folder or pocket in the binder
  • review books listed below can be purchased at most bookstores and easily found online:
    • Barron’s Regents Exams and Answers Earth Science by Edward J. Denecke Jr. M.A. (small red paperback)
    • Let’s Review Earth Science: The Physical Setting by Edward J. Denecke, Jr. M.A. (larger blue paperback)
