Welcome to Fifth Grade!
We look forward to meeting you and having you in our fifth grade classes in September.
While you are enjoying your summer vacation, take some time every day to read. Please gather the supplies listed below during the summer and come prepared for your first day of school. Please label all your supplies with your name. Supplies may need to be replenished during the year.
All Grade 5 teachers are requesting:
- 2 sets of inexpensive earbuds/headphones-labeled with name in ziplock bags
- Three marble notebooks (reading, writing, and social studies)
- One 3-subject spiral notebook (math)
- 2 packs of dry erase markers-thin markers
- Dry eraser/pair of socks (to use as a dry eraser)
- 4 Pocket Plastic Folders–different colors
- ELA (yellow)
- Social Studies (blue)
- Science (green)
- Pencil sharpener-hand powered/no batteries
- Small box of crayons OR/colored pencils
- 2 packages of wipes
- 3 boxes of tissues
- Sticky notes 3×3
- 2 highlighters-different colors
- Scissors
- 2 sharpie markers, fine point – black
- 2 boxes of pencils-may need to be replenished throughout the year
- 1 package of loose leaf paper (wide-ruled only)
- 4 glue sticks
- 1 pack of erasers
- soft pencil case
