May 7, 2010 – Did you know that motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death among 13-19 year olds in the United States? Goshen High School's SADD members are aware of these scary statistics and want to spread the word. SADD will host "Preventing Teen Fatalities Behind the Wheel" at 7 p.m. May 17 in the Goshen High School.

This informational presentation will educate parents and teen drivers about the challenges that teens are faced with when they get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. There will also be a special presentation about "social hosting."

Keynote speakers include Orange County Bar Association Hon. Forrest Strauss, Senior Partner Joel Finkelstein, Esq., from Finkelstein & Partners, and Retired NYPD Detective Lieutenant Steven Mona.
