My name is Monsieur RIVIÈRE Fabien and this is my CJH web page for Grade 7 French and all things French! On the left menu, you will find the following options:

  • Ma boîte à outils (Tool Box): You will find here all the specific resources and materials for this first year of French, that is class expectations and rules, hard copies of worksheets, guidelines, but also materials from class such as PowerPoint presentations, games, practice activities, Vokis, etc..

  • Mon calendrier (My Calendar): Whether you are out of school or need a refresher, it is the perfect place to find out about our daily lesson objectives, homework, upcoming test/quiz, due dates for project, etc.). The calendar is in line with events in both Goshen Schools and the French-Speaking Holidays to keep you in the loop of what is happening!

  • Ma communauté Moodle (My Moodle Community): This will link you directly to my Moodle page, which is an essential part of this course. The Moodle Page will allow you to access the entirety of the French 1 course as well as further practice skills acquired in class. More importantly, Moodle is going to be a platform for uploading and submitting your assignments (eg. Voki, Glogster, Digital Story Telling, and other awesome projects.

  • Mon Edmodo (My Edmodo): Edmodo provides a safe and easy way for our French class to connect and collaborate, share content, and access homework, grades and school notices.

  • Nos correspondants (Our Pen Pal Exchange): This link will direct you to our pen pal exchange page. Every year, you will communicate via letters, Skype video conference calls with seventh graders in France and other French-speaking countries. It is an excellent way for you to use your skills in French in a real-life context.
