Absentee Ballots

Registered voters may vote by absentee ballot on the Capital Improvement Project if they are unable to vote in person on January 28. Please be aware that there is a two-step process to receive an absentee ballot:

  • Fill out an application for an absentee ballot to confirm why you will not be able to vote in person.

  • Fill out the actual absentee ballot to cast your vote.

Applications for an absentee ballot are available from District Clerk Cindy Brown at the Main Street Administration Building or can be printed here: Print the application for absentee ballot (PDF)

Completed applications must be returned to the District Clerk seven days before the vote (January 21) if you’d like to have the ballot mailed to you. After the application is received, you will be given the ballot to cast your vote. You may also complete the application in person and receive the ballot at that time.

Absentee ballots must be completed and returned to the District Clerk by 5 p.m. January 28 in order to be counted. Call District Clerk Cindy Brown at 615-6720 if you have questions.
