Goshen residents pass proposed budget for 2016-17

- On May 17, district residents passed
the $67,778,271 proposed budget for the 2016-17
school year by a vote of 976 yes votes to
418 no votes -- an approval
rating of 70.01 percent. Under the approved budget, the
district's tax levy is projected to increase by 7.44
percent with an estimated tax bill increase of 2.9
The proposition to purchase eight school buses
passed with 968 yes votes and
433 no votes.
Jeremy Cassel, incumbent, and Michael Lorenzo will serve three-year terms on the Board of Education with
1,073 votes and 945
Mark Cook Sutherland received 467 votes.
